CES Frenzy

The conference frenzy has died down today (Sunday) but for the first two days of CES it seemed like the whole world had showed up to preview the latest and greatest in consumer technologies. Preliminary numbers indicate that attendance this year will be higher than last year’s 107,000 – one of the lowest in some time for the world’s most influential CE show.
However the number of exhibitor and total exhibit floor space seems much lower than last year or the year before. No big exhibit hall at the Venetian/Sands this year and a smaller central plaza here at the Convention Center.
